Houndstooth Waterproof Fabric is a functional textile that combines traditional Scottish houndstooth with modern waterproof technology. 1. Double protection

Cleaning and maintenance guide

1. Daily cleaning

Light stains: Wipe with a damp cloth dipped in neutral detergent (pH 6-8), and avoid using products containing bleach or softener.
Heavy stains: Use the “jacket mode” (speed ≤ 400 rpm) and water temperature ≤ 40℃ when washing with a washing bag to prevent fabric friction. Grangers 2-in-1 detergent is recommended to clean and repair the DWR coating at the same time.

2. DWR coating repair

When water droplets cannot form a rolling effect on the surface of the fabric, spray Nikwax TX.Direct® repair agent:
Wash and dry the fabric;
Spray the repair agent evenly (30cm away);
Tumble dry at medium and low temperature for 20 minutes or iron at low temperature (no steam).

3. Storage taboos

Avoid long-term compression (causing cracking of the glue strips), it is recommended to hang or roll;
Keep away from chemicals such as mothballs (which may corrode the coating);
When storing in a humid environment, use a moisture-proof bag and desiccant.
