50D Fabric is a high-performance plain-weave, cotton-like memory composite fabric made from 100% polyester. It’s renowned for its soft, comfortable feel, delicate texture, excellent water resistance, and excellent shaping properties. The fabric utilizes a precise plain weave process, resulting in a high-quality, visually appealing texture that feels similar to natural cotton.
50D cotton-like fabric is woven from high-density polyester fibers, resulting in a fine, soft texture and a cotton-like feel. After a high-temperature setting treatment, the surface is smooth and comfortable, making it ideal for close-fitting or high-end luggage linings and outerwear.
The surface of the fabric is treated with a water-repellent process to effectively resist rain and liquid penetration. Even in wet or rainy conditions, it keeps items dry, offering superior protection compared to ordinary polyester fabrics. Tested hydrostatic pressure ratings of ≥800 mmH₂O are achieved.
Adopting a plain weave structure, the yarns are tightly interwoven, achieving a tear strength of ≥25N / ≥22N. It resists damage even under prolonged use and frequent folding, making it ideal for backpacks and duffel bags subject to frequent use.
The 50D fabric is dyed using low-pollution dyes and an environmentally friendly dyeing process, resulting in vibrant colors, washability, and color fastness of at least Class 4. It is also formaldehyde-free and odor-free, meets OEKO-TEX standards, and is suitable for export to European and American markets.
The fabric can be laminated with a variety of lining materials, including EVA, PU, PVC, and TPU. It exhibits “memory” properties, meaning it quickly returns to its original shape after bending or stretching, resisting deformation. This makes it particularly suitable for creating three-dimensional bags, hats, and cap structures.
